For some reason the other thread has now been locked to new replies, without any statement from VSMedia, Flirt4Free, or ABS... No acknowledging there is a problem, or that there would atleast be an investigation into the claims, just a locked thread?

Censorship much, or sweeping under the carpet?

All you have to do is go to the original thread, "Aphrodite Boys is at it again" (which I started) and try to reply and you will see this response. You know perfectly well what he's referring to. I have never seen that on one of these forum threads (and I hit "reply" on several other forum threads to make sure it wasn't just a system error). In the original thread, I was pointing out that the models from Aphrodite Boys have not been paid by the studio for months. One would think that the hard-working models being stiffed by their studio would be a matter of concern to VS Media, and something they would want to take steps to deal with. Apparently not. That's disheartening, and will make many people, including me, question whether they want to keep tossing money at a site with so little regard for its workers.

Thanks for following up on this, Patrick. I'd say it's one of two possibilities: 1) Flirt is not...um...telling us the whole story about this, or (more likely) 2) the models have been threatened with firing if they go to Flirt. I'll try to find out.

Well, maybe F4F not at liberty to discuss issues; why not contact ABS and/or Anna B herself.
Rights of non disclosure concerning Models for their protection and during whichever situations is part of any site or of this type/industry especially for the ladies.
From personal experience, if model didn't tell you and no response from model via email, then accept non disclosure.
Also, and not advocating, there are several Models also involved with ABS still working on F4F, they have chosen not to disclose or discuss?!

This behavior at APB has been going on for years; it's their standard business model. In effect it's a pyramid scheme where the bottom of the pyramid keeps getting refreshed by new naive models to pay the studio, owners, and "top" models. Early on those models moved studios when they figured out the scam, but now the studio makes them all sign multi-year exclusivity contracts so they can block the transfers. These exclusivity contracts aren't like porn contracts which include incentives; they are non-compete clauses simply to block them from moving. That is why all recent departures from APB end up only working on other sites. The first bunch of models that founded and then left APB managed to get their accounts back, and are on Flirt. I am sure they will be happy to tell you all about Anna and APB. I've heard enough for a lifetime.

I got this email today from a (former) ABS studio model today...

Hello!
L here, if you remember me. After a long period of not having access to the account, I am back! I obtained access to the account from the site, and from now on I no longer collaborate with the studio. I managed to get access to the account because I haven't paid by the studio for a long time, more precisely since June last year and there have been many promises from them that it will be solved, but nothing.
I’m happy to be back and ready for new adventures and for a new start.
If you still have the pleasure to visit me and to talk with me I will be very happy to spend time with you again!

I will be online again starting at midnight, June 11th.

Sadly I doubt the site will take any action on this unless they have a model presently at that studio filing a complaint. There is one model with this studio who by just being in his room you can clearly see there is a problem. I am not sure what hold that studio has on him, but think he could be damaged in a mental way. He start off on the site being a bit shy but sort of happy friendly, but now never seems to talk and has a sad look on his face. Not sure what can be done, but hope something soon.

Apparently not. It's getting more and more difficult to support a company that takes a huge percentage from its workers and gives them no support.

If this is really happening, I wonder if VS Media has long known about these studios' refusal to pay their models and is simply turning a blind eye to it.

Apparently Aphrodite Boys has closed. The studio was bought by another studio. Good riddance. Hopefully the new studio will make good on ABS' debt, and Flirt will take steps to insure that no studio owned by the ABS people (which includes their precious Stefano, who's right at the heart of this) will ever be allowed on this site again.

Unfortunately Flirt4Free/VSMedia look to have turned a blind eye to this ABS situation, suggesting anything that will make them a profit can receive this treatment (unless they are not telling us something?). Whoever works for VSMedia, I'd really consider how it reflects on your personal ethics/morals by choosing to work for a company that directly supports businesses that exploit human beings for their own gains. Without Flirt, ABS wouldn't have existed. With stronger governance from VSMedia, ABS's alleged practices wouldn't have happened.

Lack of communication to customers should really be unacceptable in 2021 in a situation where people have been adversely affected. Ignorance isn't an excuse anymore, considering in the context of VSMedia own company culture statement "Mutual respect and personal accountability are other key company values.". On one of the walls in their corporate office, they have a word map with one of their big words being "Trustworthy"... Show some respect for your customers, show some respect for the models, and most of all, show some respect & accountability for yourselves, because without that respect you damage your whole business model through loss of "trustworthiness".

As I post this, I look at: "Remember, please be respectful in your posts and replies. Everyone comes here for entertainment, not to fight. Distasteful and/or aggressive posting could result in the removal of your posting privileges." Maybe change the "Everyone comes here for entertainment" line. Usually we all come here for entertainment, but as a person I choose not to turn a blind eye to bad practice, and prefer to call it out so people can be held accountable and be better for next time.

What makes you think they need to tell you anything about their business with one of their studios or the models that work for them?. You are a member, not a business partner, not a stock holder, not a member of their board.
