I am the queen. Not in a stone castle, no. My castle is a forest, green and thick, where sunny bunnies dance on foliage, and birds sing their songs to me. My crown is a wreath of wildflowers, woven by my hands. It smells of honey and summer rain.Every day I go for a walk in my possessions. My subjects are butterflies fluttering around, proteins that hide nuts in hollows, and ants working hardly building their cities. I carefully listen to their whisper, I understand their concerns.I like to roam the paths, feeling the coolness of the earth under my feet. I like to stop at the stream, listening to his murmur. He tells me the stories of mountains and valleys, heavy rains and hot sun.When I get tired, I sit down under the old oak, spreading my branches like caring hands. He is my faithful adviser, a witness to many generations. He knows the secrets of the forest and whispers them in my ear.In the evening, when the sun sits down, staining the sky in crimson tones, I return home, full of impressions and new knowledge. And in a dream I dream of my forest, my subjects and my crown of wildflowers. After all, I am a queen, and this is my life.
